Well most of us have heard this; however how many of us truly understand this? Well I will not pretend to know exactly where good ol’ Albert was coming from… However – I will offer my opinion – Cool…
Maybe if you where to ask yourself…. “What happens when I imagine?”
The question for you is an easy one AND at the same time (I believe) a very powerful one. You may actually see this as an invitation to open up your mind and go exploring… Exploring for all of the fun things in life that one can partake in… Maybe you will sit back and mentally go through a list you have, shopping; a travel list or maybe you’re your very own “Bucket List”!!! Yes the bucket list – What are the things that one must do and accomplish before one “decides” to leave the planet???
Well when do you imagine yourself accomplishing those items on your bucket list? Now perhaps?… What are a few of them? Just for fun why not say that a hot-air balloon ride is right at the top of your bucket list. Now because this list consists of adventures that you will actually partake in AND you are very much looking forward to doing…. It is suggested that you see yourself from a few vantage points.
So at first I would like you to see yourself in the balloon basket. Imagine that you are about 100 feet away from the basket. You are standing on a nice open field; the sun is warming your face with a magical sunbeam just for you… There are of course very, very few clouds in the sky. There is an ever so slight breeze that sends a nice warm fuzzy up and down your spine.
As you are standing there looking at the balloon basket… You take a closer look… and you actually see YOU standing in the basket with some of your friends or family…. ….Whom ever you want to be with - is there with you…
You notice the look of true happiness and anticipation upon your smiling face…. So much so that you can actually feel that glow in your body right now… You notice what clothes you have on… The color of your shirt, perhaps it is a new outfit that you have had your eye on for some time… Does not matter what you are wearing… Because you are sooo happy just to be there with your friends and your family….
As you are watching yourself… suddenly… you notice an extra smile upon your face… the basket moves… the helper (that you did not see) all of a sudden lets go of the rope..
Quicker than the quickest elevator you have ever ridden on…..
WOOOOSHHHHHhh up, up , up and away…..
You are still on the ground squinting to see yourself go up… wooshhhh
All of a sudden you blink and BLAMMO--- YOU are now in the basket….Rising faster and faster…. The warm breeze is brushing against you face… You are soooo glad to be alive – How wonderful life is… How wonderful you feel!
You look to the ground far, far, far away… you recognize someone on the ground wearing your clothes… what looks to be you clothes anyway… You stop and think for a second… who could that be ???
The thought passes just as quickly as you look to the side and realize that there is a flock of brightly colored birds…. flying right along the side with you…. they are so close you swear that you can reach out and touch one…. As you think to yourself… Should I?... Dare I reach out for one of the birds?? As you do… The bird turns his head and says…
“I am glad to see that you finally took your balloon ride Paula…
What a beautiful day.. Yes???” – (Says the bird – snicker…)
Oh behold the power of the imagination….
.....Put yourself INTO your future...
Keep your dreams alive…
Because every single one of them is just for you…
